About Debco
In 1953, Dwane Busse of Hester-Bradley Company was offered the Warren Webster contract. Leaving Hester-Bradley with two other employees, Dwane formed Debco Equipment Co. Shortly after incorporation, Debco Equipment Co. received a contract with Kewanee Boiler Corporation. After almost 50 years, we have remained a Boiler Room Specialty company. Consistent quality, Energy Savings, and correct Boiler applications are our goals for each and every customer.

Senior Personnel - Michael D. Busse
Mr. Busse started his boiler career learning to sweat copper pipe as a teenager and has been around boilers for most of his life. After 2 years of studying Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas, he transferred to Tarkio College in Tarkio, Missouri. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a major in Business Administration in 1973. Mr. Busse was awarded the Elzy Vern McCollough Merit Award for Outstanding Senior in Business Administration. Post-graduate studies were at Webster University, graduating with a Master of Arts in 1983 with a dual major in Business Administration and Professional Sales Management.
Professional experience in the boiler business began in 1973 as a salesman, shortly after college graduation. Mr. Busse completed his first burner service class in 1975 when he was a representative with Kewanee Boiler Corporation. Gordon-Piatt burner service school was completed in 1980, and he was a service school instructor in 1983, 1985, and again in 1990. Mr. Busse completed a course in Measuring and Improving Boiler efficiency at the University of Wisconsin in 1982.
Mr. Busse joined the American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers as an Affiliate member in 1974. He was granted the grade of Associate member in 1983 and was granted the grade of Member in 1986.
Mr. Busse continues today as a sales representative for the leading boiler/burner companies in the United States. He also continues to teach steam and hot water boiler classes for Consulting Engineers, service contractors, and boiler owners.
